Buena Vista

I was at the mall today and stopped by Forever 21, the store.  Well, after trying on a few items I realized that you cannot be Forever 21!!! It makes sense that their prices are soo cheap! They barely use fabric in their clothes… Last year I brought some clothes at Forever 21…. So I guess as of last year I was Forever 21… this year I’m more like... Fornow 30.

Next time I am going to the ‘regular’ stores instead…The Limited, Ann Taylor and Banana!! Where I know I’m a size M for sure!!

However, I didn’t let a little incident like that ruin my trip to the mall… so I stopped at Nordstrom’s café for a banana mocha (yes, with whipped cream please!) Those banana mocha are soooo good!!

As I was paying I saw this sign:

Aaaaaaaaaaw so cool to see we get coffee from El Salvador in the USA and at Nordstrom – Fancy! 

  

Buena Vista translated to English means: Good View (or good sight)… I’m happy I stopped by this café.

Cupcake Monday

First Cinco de Mayo that I celebrated by not drinking! Instead I enjoyed a nice guacamole my sis made.  It was delish! And so fitting for the occasion: 
Viva Mexico! 

I hate Mondays.  Yes I do.  Having to be at work at 8:00AM just makes it even worst.  3 cups of coffee help, but not always.  My friend Jim spent the weekend in NYC (I try not to get soo envious when he goes to NYC…  I try…) I always give him a hard time every time he goes to ‘my’ NYC and comes back with all sorts of stories about places in SoHo , Tribeca, and downtown… However, this morning he surprised me with this pretty box:

In it were 6 delicious mini cupcakes by NYC’s Baked by Melissa bakery.

 

I hate Mondays, but at least this Monday I have a little of NY at my desk…
